NPR One App Reviews

Shouldnt have to sign in, but I did and it didnt work right anyway. Looked up one of my favorites and its not there. Closed it out and went to Stitcher. Would love it if it was fixed.

I think it is a great app! Does everything you would want it to do. Create content thats easily accessible. Your one stop shop for intelligent, entertaining and enjoying listening. I cant remember the last time I turned on the radio in my car!

TED radio hour should definitely be placed in the featured show section, it is one of the most interesting shows and it is getting annoying to have to search the show every time I want to listen to it.

Great way to catch up on the news.

I dislike getting advertisements to download NPR One while Im using it. Aside from this, I enjoy the app. But its annoying, hearing promotions about the app so often, while Im using the app already.

This is a nice app, but it could use a 15 second fast forward button similar to the rewind button. The advertisements are long and repetitive. Most of them generally arent of interest to me song would love to be able to forward through them.

NPR is educating me daily. Great long road trips.

If you dont find them here, perhaps thats why. Above is meant to address the complaints Ive seen in the reviews that dont really apply to this app, comparing it to stitcher or other apps. This app works well to introduce you to other NPR content, but its hard to find things unless they are featured or you know what yore looking for. If theres a browse feature, I havent seen it. It does work better for me for streaming OPB than OPBs own app. And its quick to stream it: 1 click. It also keeps asking me to sign in, and I have. Its stopped the content to do so, which is annoying. Also, why are there ads for the app while Im listening? I already downloaded it and am using it. Its as annoying as pledge breaks for supporters.

Great content but when I pause, I lose the show I was listening to. Come on NPR I have a Life. Also you cant fast forward through a story.

I love the idea of this app, but unfortunately it still has a lot of bugs. It frequently stops playing after the initial news report (or after the announcement of NPR one) or goes silent mid-story despite looking like its still playing. It also frequently just repeats the initial NPR one jingle over and over and never goes to a story. I hope these issues get ironed out soon because I love the idea of the app. Its been like this for quite awhile now and I keep giving it a try because I really want to love this app. But Im thinking the developers may have abandoned us....

Great app for listening to NPR. So much better than anything else out there. Very flexible and useful. Nicely done.

I enjoy using especially while driving longer distances though I have not used it enough to know how smart it is at learning me. I searched for certain programs and could not find them. I do like the ability to skip content and I have to remember to tap interesting light bulb. It is more like Spotify or other streaming services. I find myself going back to podcasts of my preferences I have on my iPhone podcast app. Worth downloading and giving a try.

Love hearing MN pub radio. grew up there, and love their delivery of news compared to so many MSM. Have only used it about a week, so may have to return for more updates to this review. so far, no problems.

I listen to NPR more than any other set of programs. I use the podcast app. On NPR One, I cant delete a program I dont like. I cant get back to the radio station. I have to scroll through recommendations before I can see stations I follow. Cant "unfollow" a station. I find its a difficult app to use.

I love this app. I kept hearing about it during my NPR podcasts but didnt give it a second chance until I heard it can customize your playlist to your likes. As a child of the Pandora and Hulu era I went for it. I love it! All my favorites (Reveal, Embedded, Latino USA) are all on one platform! I loved NPR before but this just put the icing on the cake!

Ive been listening non stop since I downloaded this. Such a smart idea. Only feedback is sometimes I pause something and when I press play it skips forward to the next track.

I love this app. Could it be better? Yes, but lets not let the very good be the enemy of the perfect. I would love to see Morning Edition or All Things Considered available on demand but no way the local affiliates will agree to that.

Such a nice mix of content. Great for my morning commute.
